Has anyone purchased the box set?

Well I got mine in. I love it. I do wish it had a extra bonus disc like Buffy...but oh well...LOL Thankfully thought it has a feature that gives you WS or Full Screen 🙂 I like that!
 
I have the full series boxsets of Buffy and Angel. I want Firefly next. Both are awesome, but it's only when you have Buffy to compare it with that you realise, Angel is MUCH better.
 
Buffy and Angel Compliment One Another

To me I can't like one over the other. It's almost like they are a one of those Supercouples who are perfect together. And I honeslty don't think that Angel is better than Buffy in the writing. Angel seems like it had a bigger budget. This all my opinion of course. Others see things differently. At least ideas and views keep our world interesting and we should all enjoy that. However it's sad that our differences have caused war after war throughout the beginning of time as well. :thought:
 
I have the boxset and its great...would have liked more extras but the note from joss more than makes up for it!! and its not like you can't find extras on youtube
 
I would love it, however, no money for it as of right now. im way frugal and making purchases over like $50 for myself is hard for me!
 
No I have not. Mostly because I already have all of the seasons on dvd. It was a waste to me. I really want it tho.
 
Ordered the boxset yesterday on Amazon, should be here in time from Xmas. Its on offer at £59.97 (Around $120) on the UK Amazon site right now.

Wow that is expensive. I got mine on sale for $89.99 at Best Buy. I can't open it till Christmas though. I remember the Buffy one was the gold box special on Amazon last month for only $100.00. I should have gotten it when I had the chance. 🙁
 
I paid £120 for it which was like 180euros...it really doesn't come cheap this side of the pond

Nope...the extras consist of that letter from Joss Whedon and....thats it. More than a little disappionting considering how much they cost.

Yeah same over here. I already have all the seasons too but I just had to get it for Christmas when I saw it on sale. LOL
 
I know the Buffyverse is going to make me bankrupt! I had everything on VHS( Yeah I'm that old school!) but I just couldn't NOT get the DVD's so I bought both complete box sets, cost me the best part of 400euro
