I don't think he has ever said explicitly what he views as his best work. He did say that Firefly was the best experience he ever had with tv bar none.

I have heard it was Firefly too, though he does seem to be awfully attached to Buffy too. Poor Angel always seems to be the neglected child.

Actually, I think he has said Buffy is his favorite of his own work...or at least he considers it his "baby." I think Firefly was just his favorite experience.

Yeah, his wording is very specific when he describes his each show.
