For those of you who have seen the beginning of Angel season 5, do you think that Spike is over Buffy? I've been thinking about it lately and I haven't really come up with an answer. They haven't mentioned Buffy or their relationship much in s5 probably b/c Sarah won't be back this season, so they don't want the fans to dwell on her too much, but does anyone have a strong opinion on the matter. Spike's actions have swayed my opinion back and forth, but can you ever really get over someone that you truely love? What do you think?
 
I haven't seen s5 but I've read all the spoilers,they didn't mention Buffy too much,at least,they didn't say anything about Spike's feelings towards her,..I think Buffy is Spike's true love,he can't just get over her,I think he still loves her,..but tehre's still 10 eps that we don't know anything about,...I didn't vote,I'm not sure about it yet
 
I havent seen S5 either but I voted to early to tell we probs wont be able to tel until Buffy and Spike are reunited...I think he wont hav got over her...i dont think he ever will..or mayb he will..we may never know..
 
I think he will always love her,...what's so special about her?,as she is the only person on earth,..spike and angel should get over her and end up together!
 
He will always luv her. Even if he moves on (and falls in luv with another), there will be the special memories and a part of her will always live with him.
 
I think its alittle too early to tell. But, I certainly hope he does, maybe that will bring me back to liking his character again. I gained alot of respect for him and what he said in Chosen, because he was man enough to admit it to himself. Now he just needs to move onto someone that can love him in the way he wants to be loved.
 
He will love her till the end of the world...which is kinda a shame sometimes when i think about it...she doesn't deserve him...
 
Ofcourse he hasnt moved on, it would be way to quick and well it would mean that he never really had any feelings for her if he moved on in like 5 months. So far Spike has only loved 2 people Dru and Buffy and it took him a long time to get over Dru which I think he is not completly over.

I agree with you Rayne. He did so much for her, and she treated him like crap most of the time, and yet he still and always will love her. She doesn't deserve him (although I don't think she deserved Angel or Riley either), I just want Spike to be happy...
She never seems to know a good thing when it's right in front of her. She pushed all three people who really loved her away.
 
He still loves her, he always will, though he knows he can never have her, something inside will always long for her. I just hope he'll get someone else soon. (And I don't mean Harm).
 
Buffy did not push Angel away, Buffy didnt love Riley to the amount of like she loved Angel and plus sure you know Buffy never cried infront of Riley but she gave him everything else and then he just goes off and lets Vamps feed off of him and then gives Buffy an ultimaten(sp) and she has to make her choice in less then 24 hours.
 
I think that he still loves her.......just like angel still loves her also....I don't think that you really ever stop loving someone....
