This is basically DC's Blade. Andrew Bennett/I, Vampire is a vampire that kills other vampire. Too bad they never made his movie because it wasn't selling much as Batman was.

I can imagine Wesley Snipes reading this and silently raising a brow.

In terms of adaptations- Blade is a weird case. He was a minor character in the early Tomb of Dracula, then got optioned for a movie that didn’t market itself as a superhero movie or comic book adaptation. Almost all of the elements of the character people think of today were taken from the movie, and they were carted back over to the comics.

Ooh a vampire who kills other vampires, I've never heard of that before .. ..
no wonder no one wanted to make a film of it.

Angel, Spike, Alucard and Seras from Hellsing, other Alucard from Castlevania, Vampire Hunter D, Mikael Mikaelson from The Vampire Diaries, Zero Kiryu from Vampire Knight.

Hannibal King (the comic book version not the movies). Andrew is more of a similar role to Hannibal King while his girlfriend Deborah Dancer to Blade for a half-vampire.

I can't believe there like no major comic book channel that ever cover up this character. All I see are DC Spider-Man name Sideways or DC Deadpool name Red Tool (which is like a counter ripping off Deathstroke). I found one video though not big.

N52 version and Justice League Dark are good. I would not recommend DC vs Vampires because Andrew Bennett dies.

JJ Abrams is planning on a Justice League Dark TV series and James Gunn is going to do lesser-known characters. High hopes for Andrew Bennett first adaptation.
