I was watching some of the best Buffy fights on youtube, and it got me thinking. Have any of you ever been in a fight?

I've only been in one. I'd say I did pretty well considering the circumstances. I was in the weight room at school on one of the machines working on my legs when this girl comes up to me and starts trying to start a fight. Well...long story short, it worked and my foot met her face. Neither one of us wanted to get suspended, so she told everyone that she fell and hit one of the machines.

you little up-start!!!;)
I have done the whole wrestling thing with my cousins but I have never physically founght another person in anger.

I've never been in like a physical fight with another girl which I am pleased to say. Although I have been in some very interesting verbal matches. Lucky for me I do debating so I usually win lmao!

Well ok heres the thing... me and the girl i threw down the stairs used to be best friends ... One night she stayed over my house and the next day my dad called and said he was in town and wanted to see me well my friend couldn't go home till later so we brought her along... (my dad was a cross country truck driver back then so it wasn't often he stopped by) well we went to the Truck stop to meet him there he bought us lunch... and gave me and my friend quarters to play all the games we wanted.... we spent time together etc....

a few weeks later me and my friend got in a fight and she started to bad mouth my dad who she had met that one time and he was the nicest guy to her well i told her to shut the hell up or i'd make her and she wouldn't she said we were rednecks and probley slept together all the time so i basically punched her in the nose grabbed her by her dirty never been washed long blonde (if thats what color you could call it it was filthy nasty) and basically swung her in a circle and let her go she fell down two flights of stairs and started to cry cause she bumped her arm on the wall other than that she was fine....

she goes running off to the student advisor and i get called to the office i told him the whole story i said Yes i pushed the slut down the stairs and he looked at her said are you hurt she said she had a small bruise on her arm but otherwise no... he looked at me said your free to go Candice.... then turned to her and said Miss Tracey..... i have no doubts you started this whole thing... Detention for the next week.... I have never yet to see this young lady in this office... unless it was for something good... she is an A, B student... Never bothers anyone.....

You and your brother however have been in here a few times so think about that

IT WAS GREAT!!!!

OMFG LOL! not at her nasty comments but how you took her out! you'd make an awesome slayer! ;)
Except with my brother, no.

And it's really fortunate because I tend to be very sarcastic and I can piss people off when I want to, I've almost had people start a fight because of my sarcasm or my making fun of them in subtle ways...I really don't even know if I could win in most cases, but let me tell you...if someone attacks me I'm going for the balls, and once their down I'm going for them again...and they will never, ever have children. Or even testicles when I'm done. *shrug*

One time in kindergarten I slugged a fifth grader in the stomach. Can't remember why, though. Something about dodgeball?

Anyway, other than that no. Lots of verbal throwdowns though. I usually win. 😛

A friendly non argument fun not really fighting thing. I guess I haven't , that's a good thing, isn't it?

I've never been in a physical fight, and God, I hope I never am, because if I'm not at school or someplace that serves alcohol, I'm carrying. And that leads to all kinds of no fun even if the gun never leaves the holster.

One fight.

Strangely enough, it was with the daughter of a minor celebrity. He had his own band that was just starting to get notice. At the time, he also played for/toured with a band that you'd all probably know if I told you the name (for privacy reasons, I won't).

Anywho, this guy had three daughters who were roughly my age. The oldest daughter was in my grade. We were friends with one another. We were also friends with another little girl who lived down the street. The mutual friend threw a slumber party during which the celebrity's daughter thought it would be fun to hide my new glasses. My parents had made a huge deal over how my glasses were expensive and I had to take care of them and how they helped me see and I couldn't get new ones if I lost these and blah blah blah. So when she started to play keep away with my glasses, I told her all of this. She didn't care. So I punched her. She punched me back. Then I punched her back, etc. etc. This continued until the birthday girl started crying because we'd ruined her party. The celebrity's daughter gave me my glasses back and we both apologized to the birthday girl. It wasn't exactly a knock-down drag out and we were just little kids, but punches were exchanged, so I guess it was a fight.

I've never been in a proper fight (There's no doubt in my mind that i would lose if i was in one lol) but i did once ram a guy's head into a wall =] he was my best mate at the time...

and i did elbow a guy in the throat at school once and left him on the playground coughing and trying to breath

I'm a nice guy really XD

Where and when I grew up fighting was a fact of life. I've been in more fights than I care to remember. Like they say violence breeds violence, not a good scenario. If you don't get caught up in a fight, that's a good thing.

I've been a student of the martial arts for more than 40 years (GOD, I'm getting old!) and all of the masters and instructors I've had the privilege of studying with had one hard and fast rule: No student is EVER to be involved in any fight that can be in any way avoided and remain in my school or any other in this area. I took that very seriously and walked away from every confrontation I was involved in as a young man. I did break up a fight between two other men once, so that might be considered being in a fight.

As a part time instructor myself now, and a 4th degree black belt, there are legal implications if I ever do get in a fiht, so, since I don't want to spend my spare time in the county slammer or worse, I still avoid fights.

Never really been in a fight. When I was in grade 5, us girls had this thing where we'd used to try and wrestle each other off the large concrete pipe that was in the playground, and yeah, falling off did hurt but that's really about it.

Except I think this one time in grade 9 this girl was spreading these rumours about me...by writing them in chalk all over the school. I cornered her, grabbed her by the collar and told her if she didn't wipe them all off she'd be in a world of pain. She cleaned it all off, apologised and never called my bluff. But I'm sure I could have taken her.

pow! another one bites the dust!
I was lucky, never get into fights, besides verbal ones. Though, now, it's already two years that I'm studying taichi chuan (which is martial art also). Fights are ahead? Lol. I'm more of Willow-type - you fight, I'd work on computer... 🙂

I can be aggressive when I want to be, and I have been known to elbow people in the back when they annoyed me, though if they don't fight back and just run away does that count as a fight?

I've punched someone in the nose one time too, but he REALLY deserved it.
