Have you met any BB members in real life?

I was just wondering, how many people on the forum have met other people on the forum? I know there has been some BBGB thingee last year, but other than that? And ummm (I dont know if I'm allowed to ask this) But have any members become more than friends, and have meeting on BB to thank for that?

Theres one particular person on the forum I reaaaaallllyyy want to meet. I just wanted to know peoples experiences...was it weird/cool/hard/not good/awesome?

Well I was at BBGB06 last year and met Frenchy Faith, Faldor, elmo, epo, Joamna and XDruX...a great time was had by all and those wacky kids had far too much to drink when their Uncle Pointy wasn't there...I had nothing alcoholic as I was driving 😉 Oh, and Mrs P was there too 🙂
I know of at least one instance where members became "more than friends"...but I don't think it ended well...we don't see the people in question much here any more 🙁

Actually, now I think about it, BBGB06 may have led to a couple of people becoming "more than friends"...😉

lol, she's River here. plus, my best friend is a member too, but she doesn't post a lot...or ever.
appart from that, i don't think i've met anyone. but there are a few people i'd LOVE to meet.

Um, no, I have met a few really awesome people from BB. Like Fran, who was the first person I met from here and one of my best friends. I've met Joamna of course, and Ape, very insanely awesome people. Frenchy Faith I have met quite a few times and I love her to bits 🙂 Then I met Helmo, crazy sweet person, also completely awesome and great, same goes for Ashley (Xander) whom I've met twice.

And obviously I met Mr P and Faldor and XDruX at BBGB, which was a lot of fun and very cool, though, yeah, you've probably heard about that..

And yes, there are some people *cough* person, especially, I'd really like to meet. And of course I do think there might just be more than friendship there.... Hm.

(And I actually know about at least five instances where people who met on BB became more than friends...)

Oh btw, Epo and I are in love. 😛 we plan to have 10 thousand babies. Who we'll force to watch Buffy, and other good tv shows.

Met people from BB yeah... as said above, and we had a great time! (epo is sweet indeed) :silly:
Also met Faith when I went to a convention and then to London 😀

And yeah to the "more" i.e. friends with benefits... hee hee... show that when you meet someone online, it's not necessarily going to end badly (as some people say)... they are also cool ppl on the net :silly:

Hm... A friend of mine joined a while ago, but hasn't posted in like over a year. I think she registered as TruDavies or something like that. It's been a while.

But, nope... Haven't met anyone in person on here. Although, I don't know how, Jenny got my phone number somehow and called me. I was shocked because... well, I had never given her my number. Plus, I thought she was an ex of mine so I was weirded out.

As for more than friends... A member once kept messaging me telling me how he wants to rape me... Dunno if that counts. I don't think they come here anymore. Good for me. Because the whole "one first fantasy is of you going to your car late at night and I'm waiting in the backseat" stuff was kind of freaking me out. I just kind of sat there like "haha.... uh..." as to not be butchered in my sleep or something.

Nope never met any bb members 🙁 i mean i'd love to but I was living in alabama and well no one seemed to be around there

Now that i live in delaware closer to NY and all maybe someday some buffy member will like plan a weekend for all the north east members to meet up or something i dunno then i'll probley go to that...

Theres a few people i'd expecially love to meet. Mainly all my merrickans... I Love Eliza Dushku, VisionGuy, Lyri, Wanabee Slayer, Mesktet Ra, all of them.. cause they are awesome 😀

I've never met anyone from BB, but there are a few I'd really love to get together and have a beer....or six....with. I have met some people from other message boards and groups and a couple of them are my best friends, even going so far as to vacation together ocassionally! So, while there are horror stories, I haven't had any bad experiences....yet.

Nope. I haven't even though I know there are a few members on here from Illinois. Besides I been living here since September and still have yet to make any friends here. But then again I never leave the house except for doctor appointments, grocery shopping, trips for diapers, etc.

No, but see, I have this great MASTER PLAN YA'LL where somehow Jesse and Aly get a bunch of money and fly to Illinois to watch me do exactly nothing, 'cause that's what I do. OH OH I KNOW we could sit at Denny's and drink coffee, or we can all go to my work and watch me scream at people all day, or...yea.

The whole experience SEEMED real exciting when I was thinking it.

Pity me, I always go to "international" boards where the possibility of meeting anyone goes to like zero 🙁 I'm doomed. I have friends/classmates who study in New Jersey and Connecticut but the trip is waaay too expensive. Years ago while I was hanging in the Roswell Boards I befriended this awesome girl from Sweden and we sent each other gifts and stuff through e-mail and ordinary mail. She was about to visit me in Bulgaria but things got mixed up for her and she didnt't. I was so excited back then! 🙂

Nevertheless you people sound really nice and cool lol I haven't come across so many nice people on the interent at one place for some time!!
