Headphone help. A.K.A I'm such a noob

So I just bought a headphone set. And I can't install it! ARGH! I want to taaaaaaaaaalk. Ack. I've got it in the Pink & Green jacks but it still won't work. Help would be dearly apprieciated

If there are any discs that have come with it make sure you install the stuff off there. Make sure the jacks are in the right ports. That's all I can think of and I need to head to work 😛

Yeah install it if you didn't get a disc go to the website and maybe have have the driver to download.

Are you sure it needs installing? It might be Plug and Play.

I think it is plug and play, There was no disk. So I plugged but it wouldn't play 🙁

What is the make and model of the headset and which OS are you using? First thoughts are that you need some kind of driver for your kit.

Okay, my puter is windows xp. My headset brand is....Cyber, model: CY2501HS

Okay, I got nothing else so I figure you should try this.

1. Connect the headset correctly
2. Go to Control Panel from the Start Menu
3. Double-Click the Sounds and Audio devices
4. Click the Audio tab and change sound recording to the connected head set.
5. Click on Voice and then change both Voice Playback and Voice Recording to your connected headset.
6. Click the Test Hardware button underneath Voice recording.

Hopefully after that it SHOULD work 🙂
