Hey there, I'm Abbey ( which will be pretty easy to remember since I choose my name as my username.)

I was asked if I wanted to join this forum by zobothehobo so I figured, sure why not.😀 I love Buffy and Angel.

I'm 26 years old and I am library clerk. Um... I remember watching the pilot episode when it aired. But I didn't continue watching or anything. I don't think I was following episodes every week but I got back into Buffy during season 3. That's when I became a fan and watched every episode.😀 It's really hard for me to have a favorite character on Buffy but on Angel, it's Fred and illyria.

I don't know what else to say.

ps. I'm kind of shy and quiet. Sometimes, I have a bad habit of being a lurker. And sometimes when I join forums I feel all outsider-y.

Thank you. Yes, I am. I was. It took me an episode or so to adjust to illyria then I started really liking Illyria. That's one of the reasons that I was bummed that there wasn't a season 6 Angel I mean there is, if you count the comics.

Ha, same. I really loved how Amy Acker played her. 🙂 And I wanted to see more Spike/Illyria on tv! Too bad it ended then... Did you read AtF?

Me too. It made me tear up a little when they did a little Fred tribute at the end of the episode with her saying goodbye to her parents and driving off in the car.I remember specifically that I choked up a little.

Like in Buffy, Bargaining part 2 when Buffy & Dawn are talking and Dawn is trying to convince Buffy to get down from the thing that Glory's minions made. That made me cry and I was all choked up from that scene.

Ohh! I know. I loved the Spike/Illyria interaction. I did try to read the Angel comics for a while then I stopped because i'm not much of a comic book reader.

Where did you stop, if I may ask? I think After The Fall was great, but then it got less interesting. And totally agree about Spillyria.

I can't even remember where I stopped. I think it was right when we found out where all the characters were and that I think Angel might be mortal or there was some kind of big bad that wants to take Angel down.
