This might not be news to everyone, but if Tom Arnold is correct about the re-teaming of the "True Lies" team, would you like to see Eliza reprise her role as Schwarzenegger's daughter, maybe all grown up and carrying on the family business?

MTV Movies Blog ?!!?!??!

Well, the grain of salt aside; Cameron does have the established history of working with certain actors over-and-over.

No mention of Jamie Lee Curtis or Eliza I notice.
Not disregarding outright but taking a wait-and-see 'tude.

But yeah, I think Eliza could make it a bit interesting if it went in that direction.

I had more envisioned Schwarznegger taking the role vacated by Heston as the old, grizzled Director of the unit, sending younger agents out on missions. Of course, the two Arnolds would have to have somewhat larger roles than Heston had had.

Sure, I can go with that. But the underpinning of the movie is lies. Lies being told by both husband and wife to each other.
When you mention Eliza doing a reprise role where do the lies come in? The initial dynamic is lost a bit and becomes a bit murkier as a straight up sequel.

Are you advocating it as just the Governator's version of Live Free or Die Hard?
The daughter there just to be there?

The lie would be that Eliza isn't really Arnie's daughter. She's just a doll hired to fill in.

Ok, stop there and you might have the beginning of an idea that could work for a sequel.
The lies parents tell their children and that children tell their parents.
