Having finished watching Welcome to H-mouth and Chosen right after eachother I just have to say how much I like Willows character development. How can you not like the character of Willow? Look at her from being a shy computer nerd to if not a goddess at least an extremely powerful young woman.

There are two scenes that kind of sums it up and that I think are great at showing the transformation of Willow. First scene in Welcome to H-mouth;
When Cordelia walks up to her an insults her, don't know the exact words, but it's something about her clothes. Anyway Cordelia is real mean to her and we see that Buffy isn't really comfortable with that. Moving on to the next scene;
That would be the scene in Chosen when Kennedy calls her a goddess.

I kind of like those scenes because of how similar Cordelia and Kennedy were. They were both kind of spoiled brats and had the same attitude. And from a big insult in the beginning to admiration in the last ep, thats kind of cool.
 
Oh, I love Willow. Just reading this makes me all happy, she's just so wonderful.. There isn't one episode I don't love her in (ok, maybe Empty Places, but I dislike everyone in that episode).. I love how you can follow and understand everything in how Willow develops.. Well, sometimes in season 7 I got a little scared because of how much she's changed, but I still see why, and I still love her so much.

(Sorry about my over-using the word love, I just got weirdly happy just reading about how wonderful Willow is (ok now I seem really weird and obsessed and I'm gonna stop now)..)
 
That's what's so lovely about her character development. It's not just like she changes totally over night, you can follow her development and it makes perfect sense. If someone had told after I saw Welcome to Hellmouth for the first time that Willow would turn all evil after her "true love" was killed, her girlfriend, and try to destroy the world just to be saved in the last minute by her best friend and later on help Buffy to take down the Firsts army by creating slayers all over, I wouldn't have believed them or dismissed the show as being to far fetched and unreal (on the human/emotional level).
 
After Welcome To the Hellmouth I would have had truouble believeing that Willow would start exploring magic at all.. Or date someone like Oz. But she changes a lot already in the first episodes (thanks to Buffy I guess)..
 
I love Willow. She's one of my clear favourites... I just love her... I dont really have a favourite... She's Willow. But I can relate more to the geek Willow than goddess Willow right now so I might like the "old" her better right now

Haha, yeah I can relate more to geek Willow too. But I love them both equally.. When I see powerful Willow I always remember how she used to be (and then I understand her completely and it feels like I can relate to her as well)..
 
I think willow gives hope to people, it shows you dont need to be physicaly strong to be powerful, its great- i love all the characters, and you can see them all change and develop and mature, except maybe xander lol, some changes are good, e.g. willow some changes are bad, e.g. faith s3, buffy post s3
