So I joined yesterday and wasn't able to 'officially' introduce myself as I experienced a power outage while I was in the middle of it...and then I forgot about it. Anyways, here goes.

I go by Rider, been a Buffy/Angel fan since the 90's. I didn't start watching until I watched a random episode of season 5 and then binged watch everything up until that episode (Including Angel).
I'd say I'm a typical fan. Read and created fan fiction, watched and created fan made music videos. Stopped creating fan work due to time constraints and lack of drive/ getting old and to lazy to do the work solo.
Favorites:
Season - Buffy S3/Angel S5
Episode - Graduation Day part 2. (Buffy)/ Not Fade Away (Angel. But the puppet episode is an extremely close second.)
Characters - 1) Angelus. 2) Faith. 3) Illyria. 4) Dark Willow. 5) Andrew. In that order
Villain/Big Bad - Mayor Wilkins the 3'rd. (Buffy)/ The Beast (Angel).

Hated/Wasn't fond of:
Season - Later halves of Both Buffy and Angel Season 4
Episode - Second last episode in S4 (Buffy - Buffy defeats Adam and the Scoobies do the Super 'Saiyan' Slayer spell)/Angel - The second Faith left Angel in Season 4 and on, until Season 5.
Characters - Oz (Buffy - I can explain if asked)/ Groosalugg (Angel)
Villain/Big Bad - Adam (Buffy)/ Jasmine (Angel)

Welcome to the boards Rider. I've got some good news for you, you're not as old as you think you are. Buffy Season 5 kicked off in 2000, bet you're feeling youthful now!

Andrew in at number 5 on your favourite character list probably now makes you his official number one fan 🙂

Yeah I find him quite amusing a lot of the time as well. He's not the most popular chap around here though. That's the good thing though, almost every character as a fan or two and it leads to some good exchanges.
 
We all make mistakes, maybe one day you'll realize liking Andrew is one 😉

Hey there Rider, welcome to the hellmouth.
I'm also not a fan of season 4 of Angel nor really season 4 and on of Buffy, though there were a few episodes here and there that were well done such as 'Hush' and 'Normal Again' in Buffy and 'Awakening' and the Faith arc in Angel.
Still need to watch season five of Angel, I'd stopped after the opener because I was so pissed with what happened to Cordy, but I've been convinced to give it a chance, it actually surprises me greatly how popular it is, that a lot of folks even consider it the most well done season of the series.

I'm envious that you've created fan music videos, I want so much to, I've got so many ideas in my head, but I have no skill or programming for it. I'd tried to self-teach last year but the powers that be put a stop to it. 😛 It might be that my Acer laptop is too old because part of the problem was trouble with the software I was using. I tended to have issues using quite a bit of software on it. If I could just figure out how to get TV show clips and the right software I'd see if I could try it on my Macbook.

MacBook has iMovie, just find a DVD ripper for the MacBook and you should be fine (if you don't have a CD drive, you can buy one that connects with USB)

Welcome welcome. Hope you enjoy it here. I agree about Angel s4, Faith was the high light and peak of that season.
 
Hello, good to have you. Can't agree about the Andrew stuff mind, but at least he did shine the light for what a great Bond Timothy Dalton was so can't be all bad😀
