My wife and I have only recently been exposed to Joss Whedon. A friend of mine lent me Firefly about 6 months ago and we ate it up. Since then, we now own the Blu Ray of Serenity, love Dr. Horrible, and that same friend is lending us Buffy!

We are nearly done with season 3. After we finish Buffy, we'll be borrowing Angel. I really like when I love a show so much I can just always pop in the next DVD. (I couldn't imagine waiting week by week for new episodes!)

Anyway, so here I am, new to the forum. I've been around internet forums for nearly a decade and a half, so hopefully I can add a little something to the board.

Hey and welcome to the boards!! 😀 Yes, it's definitely a LOT more convenient now to be able to pop in DVDs to watch episodes, rather than have to wait a whole week to see what's going to happen next. 😉 Hope you like it here!

7 isn't that young, is it? Kids these days all get their first internet experiences very early...

I said nearly. 🙂 I'd say I've been around forums since about 96 - Starting in a very early version of gamesages.com which would later become part ign.com

Edit: Hah! In fact, that link still works! I'm amazed!

Welcome! It really is nice to be able to just pop in the next DVD. I remember when the suspense was just killing me sometimes... Anyway. Yeah, good that you joined us here.
I'm not going to promise I won't giggle every time I see your username though. xD

A good way to get to know some members better is to get sorted into one of the dorms at The Sorting Tome. If you need some help, you can get yourself adopted in the Bad Eggs forum.

Always so nice to see swedish words pop up (even though it's usually not meant that way) in the usernames from time to time. 😛 Ayway, :welcome: That whole waiting at least a week between can be very annoying so at least that's one good thing from being late to the fandom. And definitely better late than never.
