I just signed up here yesterday so I thought I'd take a moment to introduce myself. First off, I have been a Buffy (and Whedonverse) fan for many years, practically since the show's beginning. When I got into the show, I was 15 or 16 at the time (now 27). How it all started for me was a girl from school was telling me about Buffy and how I HAD to watch. I was over at her house one day and we watched some episodes (she used to record them on VHS tape, remember those? 😛) Anyway, I got hooked with season 2 (and then started recording the eps on my own until the DVDs came out. lol). I have been a loyal fan since, even collecting the season 8 comics (which I personally love. The motion comic is pretty awesome too 🙂) Buffy is the first show I ever truly cared about and became invested in. I know it sounds kind of Silly, but to me, Buffy is like a good friend I have had for many years. Oh, and that girl and I? We became best friends because of Buffy and still are to this day! I am also a member of various other Buffy/Whedon forums. I love all of Joss' other shows as well: Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse, Dr. Horrible. What can I say, I am a Whedon fanatic! Joss is my favorite writer/director/producer, etc., etc., etc. The man is pure genius and everything he touches is gold in my eyes. Other shows I enjoy include: HIMYM, Bones, Castle, Supernatural, True Blood, Vampire Diaries, etc. To add a little more about myself on a non-Buffy note; I am a psych grad student, married, and have two pugs named Zoe and Xander (yes, after the Whedonverse characters. My Hubby is also a whedon fan, though maybe not as big a nerd as me. lol).

I am always looking for a new place to discuss Buffy and this looks like a fun place to hang out. I look forward to getting to know and interact with each of you through my posts here. 🙂

Hi Kellie! :welcome: to the boards. Ah the sweet memories from recording shows on VHS. Ok, maybe not so sweet but I sure remember them. Hope to see you around. It sounds like you have a lot to contribute with.
 
No problem. Give it a little time and you'll have a lot more. While you wait for that you should ask to get sorted, here. Don't ask why, just trust me. People should always trust me. If you're lucky you'll get into VH. If you're unlucky you'll end up in a not as awesome but still great dorm(there's three others).

oh, I get it, this whole sorting thing is like in Harry Potter hu? Cool! 🙂 Haven't sorted but hopefully will be soon. Am I to understand that VH is the place to be?
