Hi Everyone
I am the new one here. I was very surprised to see how many people follow Buffy when I started looking around for Buffy related news.
Originally, I watched the Buffy movie but did not get much of a chance to watch the series due to work restraints. Recently(april), I was off work due to surgery and am still off but due to go back to work in October. Since sometime in June I've been watching the series and have grown very addicted to it. I think I started watching it from about season 5 then when the finale was over, I didnt realize it was the final Buffy episode until the next day when fox started the series over again.
Now I wish I had watched Buffy from the beginning when they were first runs. Its like the characters are part of my everyday life and seems I cant get enough of them. I keep checking around for possible Buffy spinoffs but come up with little to no new news. I've heard about the Spike possibility though. Its not Buffy and the rest of the Scooby Gang but you never know what may come of it. I've grown to like Spike as well.
I also heard that in England that Head was going to do a "Watcher" series but heard nothing of that as well.
Well, I hope you all accept me into your family here and hopefully we can rejoice with any new Buffy related news.

Welcome to Buffy Boards.It's great to have you here.I'm so glad that you were able to like Buffy.I really hope you enjoy it here.Everyone is very nice and we all like Buffy and Angel as much as you do.If you're looking for a good channel to watch the Buffy Reruns,you should try FX.Every weekday at 2 I think.They're on season 2 now I think.If you need any help feel free to PM me.I'll help in any way I can.

Yes, I've been watching fx but its at noon here in the Chicago area and in their second season as well. Today was "Some assembly required" I think the title was. Next week on Tuesday Firefly will be playing all day, I think the entire series on sci-fi channel. I will be checking that out as well.
Does Angel come on anywhere during the week?

They keep skipping around tho, which is aggravating the crap outta me....at least they are in my market, anyway....Buffy's on 12 noon to 2 here.

Welcome the boards, Mark! My obsession started much the same way as yours and now I'm firmly ensconced in Buffy/Angel fandom! My day just isn't complete until I've watched a couple of eps of either and sometimes both! Hope you have fun here, really great bunch of folks!

To answer one of your previous questions: I really don't think that any of the Buffy cast come to read these boards.

elmo......I didnt think any of the cast would be coming here but in another post I read a birthday wish for Nicholas Brendon and several birthday wishes from others afterward. For a moment I was thinking that perhaps there was a chance they do frequent the boards.
