As the title says, Howdy!
My name is Al. I've been a big fan of Buffy since I discovered it for myself around 2000. I have yet to watch every season, so I'll have to watch myself for suprise spoilers.
Its abit odd really, I have up to season six on DVD- though I have not yet watched any of it yet. (been getting them as a Christmas tradition for the past few years) I have also been collecting the graphic novels for season 8...but not reading them.
I don't want to because, as weird as it may sound, I don't want closure on the TV series. I am in the process of rewatching season two....probably my favorite season and working my way toward opening season 6 up.
I really, really love that show. The writing and the actors, the friend dynamic and real world growing pains, just...everything. It's so very well done. Plus I love a good monster story! ::bbat::
On of the things that appealed to me the most was how the scoobies interacted....especially in their high school setting. I mention this because I only have had a small but close number of friends throughout my life, and though extremely happy...I lack social skills.
That might be why I am blathering now, sorry!: erm : Anyway, I just wanted to forwarn you of my oddities...as this probably babbeling post exemplifies. Hopefully you all will go easy on me!
I also am about as dumb as a stump when it comes to computers. I can post and all, given time to figure it out, but banner making, etc. etc. is beyond me. Maybe you all could teach me!
Well, I love the show, enjoy talking about it as well as story writing (saw you had a fanfic/roleplay section.) This place looks to have some very creative people doing some very creative things. I'm looking forward to being a part of this community here.
Sorry, by the way, if I have someone elses Avatar, I'll change it if need be. It has a cool classic monster feel to it, me likey.
