Hello everyone! I am glad to find a place where I can talk about one of my favorite things in the world and not be judged!
I am a grown woman with two kids and a husband, and not one of them, nor any of my friends share my love for/obsession with all things Buffy.
BtVS and Ats are the best therapeutic medicine in the world for me lol.
I first watched Buffy in it's first season when I was 12-13 and I watched a few episodes but at that time I was in the middle of falling into the wrong crowd and I was suddenly too cool for my britches, and I had no time to watch tv because I was too busy devoting myself to "being cool" and doing what everyone else wanted me to do. Buffy wasn't cool kid approved where I lived. By the time I got around to rediscovering Buffy, it had completed it's run on tv and I was in a deep depression. Long story short, I fell in love with Buffy, and it's spin off series Angel. Some people don't think a television program can really effect someone's day to day life, but I fully credit Buffyverse for pulling me out of a really dark place. Since then I have embraced my inner nerd and I really could care less what people think of me now. And hey, once I learned to love myself, I found my husband, and now have two beautiful kids 🙂
So I come here to join other fans of Buffy who might relate to my passion, thanks for having me! 🙂
