Hello everyone! I'm in the process of rewatching Buffy so I thought I'd find a board to join. I've gotten overwhelmed and intimidated with boards in the past but will try to ease into this one.

It might shock some, but I never got into Angel. I consider myself a fan of Whedon but for some reason, I couldn't get through the whole first season of Angel. I'm giving it another chance during my Buffy rewatch.

Give Angel another go, it's a really good show. Not as good as BtVS in my opinion but well worth the investment of time and effort. Welcome to BB 🙂
 
Welcome! I agree, Angel is a great show and definitely worth watching. You might find you enjoy it more after season 1 🙂

Yeah give Angel another try, it won't be as good as Buffy, but it's still good. Also, it gets better the further you get into the series.
 
Yay, I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't been able to get through Angel the Series. 😛 I will someday though...

If you do try to watch Angel again, maybe you should try watching it in conjunction with S4 of Buffy 😛
 
Welcome! I'm pretty new too. Everyone is super nice and you'll feel right at home!

I haven't managed to get past the first season of Angel either. I've been working on it for a while now, but so far it just feels...boring. It's picked up a little though the last few episodes I've watched, now that Wesley is around. I've been told by countless people to keep at it because it gets so much better and ends up being a great show, so I'm holding on!

But it's nice to meet someone else who hasn't watched it all. 🙂

Here comes a big secret - I never liked Angel the Series either. I watched the first few episodes and really struggled through it. I joined up here and still wasn't sure about things. Finally though my (ex) fiance bought me a couple of seasons and I felt obliged to watch some of it. Once the first season was over I was sold and absolutely adored all of the following seasons. It's incredible seeing the evolution of Cordelia and Wesley especially.

I didn't watched Angel too, But I'm trying to buy the complete series so I can finally watch it 😀
