Hi, I'm Lukas and I'm (relatively) new🙄

So, finally I've found the time to write something!🙂
I'm a Buffy fan since a few months now. Although I'm from Germany I watched the complete series in English.
The reason: The German dubbing is crap. It just sounds so cheesy.
But I watch nearly every movie and every show in English, because I wanna hear the real actors and not just see them with other people talking for them.
I think most of the people from the USA and UK don't know what it sounds like, but trust me, it's not good😀

So I watched it in English and it's great!
Thanks to 'How I met your Mother' (which I love as well) I got to know Alyson Hannigan, who is now my favourite actress.
I found out that she was playing Willow in Buffy, so I checked it out and I couldn't stop watching!
And I really enjoy this forum. It's just cool!

Hey! Nice to meet you. I watched How I Met Your Mother because i loved Alyson on Buffy. Ive also always wanted to learn to speak German.

Welcome to the boards. 🙂 You sound like me. I liked SMG first and I found out about Buffy so I checked it out and couldn't stop watching. Also, I heard from my cuddly German friend about the bad dub too. 😀
 
Hi Lukas! :welcome: As Min said, the standard of the german dubbing has reached us earlier. But I have to admit in in love with the Angel episode title "Angriff der Mörderpuppen".😀 Hope to see you around.
 
Welcome Lukas! I get what you mean about dubbing. I watched both BtVS & Angel in french and it sure isn't the same having characters like Wesley and Giles not having a british accent 😉
