Hello! I'm new here but I have been lurking for awhile. I must say one of your threads have brought me out of the lurking phase!

I am 22, still in college studying English with a minor in art. I got into the Buffy fandom late due to being one of those teenagers who says "This is popular! No way!" but I did sneak peaks when Willow began her relationship with Tara (I am interested in human sexuality and this intrigued me so). I am a Woz and Tillow shipper so sometimes things become very challenging in terms of what I side with.

Not sure what else to say...I must begin posting! Looking forward to meeting all of you!

Am curious, why the name? Deus ex Machina.

Is it for its latin meaning "God out of the machine" or for its literary terminology as describing a certain contrived plot device?

It's for the latin meaning "God out of the Machine". I just like the sound of it. It sounds so cool.
