Hi,

My name is Nathan. I just finished watching every episode of Buffy for the first time. It took me about 2 months to get through it. I need more. Hence my arrival to this very cool site. I can't wait to have some great conversations about one of my favorite shows. I love Joss Whedon.

Hi Nathan! :welcome: Such a good name to have in this place. 😉 You just finished watching Buffy but needs more? Have you watched Angel? If not, that's the obvious thing to watch next.

Thank you for the awesome welcome. I really am mad at myself that I didn't get to experience the show when everyone else did. The stakes probably felt so much higher. I don't know if I would have been able to stand the time in between each season. It would have definitely killed me. And I am still on angel. I tried to watch angel and buffy together. Alternating, the way the story was written. But I got to one point around the end of Buffy season 5, where all I wanted to do was know what happened on the next episode, and I just blew through to the end of the series. I'm in the middle of angel season 3 now, so i am glad i still have that to go.

I only was around for one season break, I started in s6 (when it was being aired for the first time here) and then watched til the end. And I'm quite sure I'm not the only one on here who came around 'late', so don't worry about it 😉 It's actually nice to know people are still discovering the show after all these years.
 
Welcome to the boards. I'm glad to hear you tried to watch the Buffy/Angel eps together the way they were aired, most people I know do not bother. But I can understand why you just watched all of Buffy together after a while, it does get suspenseful.
 
It payed off the most in the first episode of Angel, and season 4 ep 1 of buffy. I saw the phone ring on Buffy and no one said anything, and I KNEW it was angel. Low and behold.
