Figured I would do a little check in. 🙂 *wave* My name is Britney & I've been a Buffy fan since episode one aired in 1997. I had totally forgotten about these boards, and I was actually surprised to find BB still around since it's been going on 10 years since the show ended. Good to see so many people still love to talk about the show, as well as new people discovering it.

As you might be able to see, I joined BB back in 2003. Since I've been re-watching Buffy, I feel the need to drop in and talk about it with others. I kind of feel a sense of nostalgia being back on the boards, kind of like whenever I watch the show. Also, my username kind of cracks me up because the 14 in my username is the age I was at the time of joining. I'm 24 now.

I'm still in awe at how fast time seems to have gone. This May will be ten years since the final episode aired, and I've been a fan for 16 years. This show still and always will have a huge place in my heart.

Great to see you here and I just like you marvel at how fast time has gone and for how long I've been a fan! 🙂

Nice to see you back...although I never did see you when you were here 'because I'm new here, but a long time fan and...Hello 😉

Welcome... back? Never sure what to say to people who are coming back, seeing as I'm pretty new here and don't exactly have a history with anyone who would be coming back. Though, I have seen you around here a little bit, so it's good to see that you came back and decided to stick around.

I was too young to watch the show when it aired, so it's really only striking me now how long it's been since the show was on the air. It really strikes me when I see the people who were in the show in the present day, and they all look significantly older than I'm used to -- well, most of them. Some of these people are pretty much ageless.

haha I know what you mean. I was (and still am) the same way about Beverly Hills, 90210. I started watching it in 2004 (four years after it went off the air), and it's weird to see how old the cast is now. I agree it's like that with Buffy too. Since I watch the show fairly often, I'm still kind of stuck in that era, if you know what I mean. Like when I see pictures of James Marsters now, it's hard to believe that's Spike. 😛 But everyone ages. It's part of life. The weird thing about TV shows is how an era is sort of trapped on film, and we can revisit it anytime. I hope I made sense just now. 😛
