I haven't been around here in a long time and really don't know anyone (last time I was here was very brief) so I just thought I'd sort of introduce myself as a new member.
I started watching Buffy very late in the game. My first season watching as it aired was season 7. But Buffy always resonated with me even if I never grew up with it. It brings back a great nostalgic feeling for me just watching her as she goes through high school, then college and beyond.
I hadn't watched Buffy in a couple years but I've recently been bitten by the Buffy bug again. After spending the past 4 months watching the series from beginning to end, I just finished it the other day and I seriously am amazed and just...wowed by how amazing the series truly is. I can't express in words how awesome it is. I've never felt this much love for the series before and I have no idea why now it's hit me so much. It just sucked me in so completely, the perfectness of it all, that I want to watch it all over again now (and plan to soon!). I'm also finishing up my re-watch of Angel now, too, and though great it is just not as amazing as Buffy. I just want to gush and gush about how much I love BTVS and that's why I'm back here, so I have like-minded people to share my current obsession with again. 🙂
I plan on sticking around for a while and joining in the threads. I might even want to review the episodes as I watch them again.
