Hello! Glad to see there are still active Buffy forums and the fandom is alive and well.

I got into Buffy when it started airing and was a regular poster at the Bronze threaded boards back on Buffy.com where I posted as Sarla.

Recently decided to start a rewatch as I haven't watched since it aired and I missed a lot of episodes after season 4 ended cause life got in the way. Currently on the last bit of season 3!

I'm excited to get to know you all!
 
Welcome to the forum! This is one of the best fan forums in existence because it is intelligent and more civil than most. Feel free to start posting because your opinion is just as valuable as that of us old crocs.
 
That's why I keep coming back; I have given up on many forums that were either a feeding ground for trolls or a bulling ground for political....well, bullies. Keep up the good work, admins.
 
Hola! 2nd gen fan here (parents were big fans too). Neat avatar. I'm guessing a fellow Willow fan?
 
Welcome to the group! I am interested to hear your impressions of episodes and themes now vs. when you first watched. Any favorite characters?

I think a lot of the themes of the show resonate with me still, and the nostalgia factor helps, too. I like Buffy, Angel, Willow, and Oz. If I had to only pick one, Oz has been a favorite since I first saw him. Spike's not too bad, either, but I hated the Buffy/Spike ship.

I stopped watching after season 3 back when it was airing partly due to real life (getting more involved in high school theatre meant long hours away from home and the TV) and partly due to how the show transitioned from a high school setting to college. And I was a big Buffy/Angel shipper and didn't like Riley and his plot at all. So I didn't see much of the rest of the show. I am curious as to how I'll like it actually watching all the episodes and in the right order.
