Hells Kitchen - US Style

I saw an article about this while browsing for news. FOX are producing a US version of the UK show which ran earlier this year where Gordon Ramsay will open up his kitchen to contestants to train them as chefs.

While this might sound boring straight off, its not quite like that. Here is a small section from the article

A perfectionist with a short temper, Ramsay has become famous in his home country for his televised tantrums on "Hell's Kitchen" and another show, "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares," as well as for his cooking. He'll have the final say on the winner.

Normally I don't watch many reality type tv shows but this one I was hooked to as this is what the guy is really like, he does not act up to the cameras at all, and the things that come out of his mouth its unreal. Its safe to say he curses more than me. It will be interesting to see how these new contestants are with him...here is hoping some mouth back at him 😉

I've never heard of the show before...but we have The Restaurant although I've never seen it myself so I don't know if it's similar.

That guys sounds like a nightmare!

My mom watches the UK version all the time. It gets played on Food TV Canada. She loves it and when I watched one episode it definitely caught my attention.

Aaah I just got Digital..so I'm not 100% sure if I get that channel....I've seen The Iron Chef which I would assume gets played on Food TV....I'll be checking out to see if Hell's Kitchen gets played on the same channel! Thanks!

Dunno what service you guys have but on my cable (Rogers)it's a channel in the 50s.
