HELP!
GET BUFFY BACK ON THE BBC

Okay... I was talking to some of the other guys on here and there seems to be a general consensus that Buffy should be back on the BBC. After all... How long did they show the Simpsons? And how many repeats?

So i've done some research and i've found the address to send them enquiries. Its pretty easy to do and you just have to follow the instructions basically. All you have to do is send the request that you want Buffy back... and hopefully if there is enough requests we will get what we want! (if not i'm sure we could get some money together and bribe them) (that is a joke by the way... im not one for brute force).

So heres the link.... Go and hassle them! And don't forget... be nice! Lets show 'em how great we all are!

If you go to the suggestion catogory then its simple from there!

have fun!

here, here, Im in!
Dont mean to rain on your parade but the BBC has too many bigger and more popular shows than Buffy. Buffy has had its days the main TV audience would no longer watch this TV show so the BBC will not show it incase they lose rating to ITV1 etc the best you could hope for is a few shows at like 2.30am like they do with star trek.

Rather a sombre attitude but another perspective is always welcome. Thanks for posting!

No disrespect intended Dancing Man, but that's a bit of a defeatist attitude in my opinion. I think that bringing back Buffy, no matter what timeslot or what channel would be a very, very good thing. Not only for us as followers of the show, but for the kids of today who haven't actually seen the show or were too small to watch when it was originally broadcast.

I for one, will certainly lobby the BBC or any other TV network that I can contact to get the show back on air if at all possible.

I guess I just have a dark look on the world 😛

i wouldnt care if buffy was only on at 2:30am i would be watching it, i watch angel on teh sci-fi channel at 3am. =D

I agree, Id love Buffy (and Angel) back on UK TV. I wish they would give it a chance, they could even make trailers to hype it and stuff.

Yeah I could just never see Buffy back on bbc maybe something like channel 5 which would be better they could give it more airtime but I doudt channel 5 would buy it.

Channel 5 did show repeats of Buffy but it was only the first season.🙁

Just follow the link all you Pro-Buffy-back-on-the-BBC peeps!

Seriously i think if we all combine as one entity then we can do it and provide quality entertainment for ourselves and other people less fortunate to have already witnessed Buffy!!!!

UNITE!

(I feel like Bob Geldof!)

I wouldn't mind seeing it back on BBC would be pretty cool, but i don't see the point when I'd be restricted to a time schedule with it when I'm able to choose any of the 145 episodes at whatever time I want since I have the whole series.

It's good for people who aint seen it much or at all, but when you have it all already it's kinda pointless.

Good Luck though but I'm with Dancing Man, ratings between each channel are really important. If it's on at the time it used to be, 6:20pm? It's in competition with Hollyoaks, which in my eyes the audience will be interested in more. Buffy is very niche I think in Britain which is unfortunate.
