HELP! i need the basics to BVS

i'm doing a college based presentation about the basics of bvs i'm afraid i might forget something and i know that a lot of my class mate haven't really gotten into buffy as much as i have so i want them hooked so if anyone can just give me some basics even if you think i should know it write it down believe me i can do this i just don't want to make a mockery of the show

Could be interesting or geeky to start with the "Into every generation a Slayer is born" speech. Or if possible the montage from the beginning of "The Gift". Just ideas for you.
