Help! MS Word, Graphics, and General Badness

Okay. Does anybody know if there's a way to take a picture that is part of a Word document, and save it as just a picture (gif, jpg, &c.)?

I can't remember exactly how to do it. But i'll find out (hopefully) and come back

Have you tried to right click the pic and then do "save picture as"? That's what happens in WinXP as far as I can see. I seem to remember Win98 says something like "save target as"...I think it may depend on how the pic was put into the Word doc.

If all else fails try highlighting the pic with your mouse then Ctrl C and paste or Ctrl V into your graphics program.
