Help needed: a little question

So I'm doing an essay about the translation of Peter Pan and I need you guys (English ppl) to give me a little info.

To you, what does TINKER means? What do you think of when I say tinker?

Please, don't look in the dictionary cause I can do that myself it's not what I want to know... I want to know what it means "to you"... so if you don't know what it is then just don't answer.

Also, could you PM me your answer please, as to not influence each other's view on the word... cause I really want it to be like the first definition that comes into you mind... not something you ponder over or discuss (discuss later if you wish hehe)
