OK, this it a total shot in the dark, but I was wondering if perhaps anyone could help me.
It's for my university degree, as part of it, I have to adapt a written story for a film.
There is a story that I want to do, and I can't for the life of me remember what it's called.
I remember it's about a man who goes to an unfamiliar town, (perhaps for work) and stays in a weird hotel.
The woman he stays with seems very nice, but she keeps getting his name wrong, and referring to "the other ones" despite him being the only guest.
Somehow, it works out that she has killed all the other guests, and he's next.
I can't remember if he gets killed or not.
It's a gothic short story.
Any ideas??
