Help!!! Please...

I'm learning how to make banners, but the person teaching me has Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and I have Adobe Photoshop 5.5. Because of our different versions, the person doesn't how 5.5 works.


Would somebody who has or has had Adobe Photoshop version 5.5 please help me?

Plus there are quite a few tutorials around on the net for different versions of Photoshop and Paintshop Pro even, alot of them offer really useful step by step guides on how to do different things. Just search for Photoshop 5.5 tutorials and I am sure you will get some good results to go look at.🙂

I can't find out how to stitch pics together to make a banner!

you have to use different layers for putting pics together.. then erase some parts to make them blend in and play around with transparency and all..

i used to have photoshop 5.5... (have the 7 now hehe) if i remeber well your eraser tool sucks pretty much.. its like all pixely and stuff, huh? not the best thing for making banners i guess.. 😵

well.. do you know how to make layers? its the first and more important thing in baner making.. all of the pics you want inside your baner have to be on separte layers. that way you cna move them around, play with their transparency and eventually blend them together.
