I feel like such a wangbar for not being able to figure this out on my own. I've been trying to either post a couple of wallpapers, or even a link to my site that has the wallpapers on it to no avail. I've tried clicking on the little button for "insert hyperlink", I fill out the two popups, and it just keeps returning a "Your Post contains one or more URLs, please remove them before submitting your message again." message. The same thing happens when I try linking to an image on my site with the image button. I'm not normally this big of a wad when it comes to forums normally. Any help here would be hot.

It's because you're new! You have to have posted a certain amount of times before you can do this! Buffy Summers wrote an explanation in another thread!

It's because to keep people from trolling the site posting advertising (ie porn links), people cannot post links until they have 15 posts.

here

as for images there is just a little code like

[*img] html of wallpaper[/*img]

but take out the *'s or else it wont work. and you have to put the image on a hosting site like paintbucket and stuff liek that becuase if you use like geocities you have to hcange the extention file from .jpg or what ever to .txt or else it wont work .

i dobut you have to have 15 posts before you can post an image? but im not entirly sure?

Thanks

Thanks a bunch. I thought that would likely be the reason. It totally makes sense. Guess I gotta go be active now. Although I have posted my new wallpapers in the gallery section. If anyone wants to check them out then you can find them there under my name

I had a look at them and they're really good! Yeah, you go be active... You'll have 15 posts in no time! 🙂

Thanks a lot. I like to adhere to K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid. I find that when I put too much on the screen everything get's muddled. I tend to feel it's better to have it more simplified, and it tends to feel a little more elegant. But that's just my opinion
