"Helpless" Question

I've been conducting a bit of a buffy marathon today, and while watching helpless, I have a bit of a question.

Why didn't Faith ever have to go through this? Is she supposed to be older or younger than Buffy? Because if she was older she was should have gone through it before, but I get the feeling that they are supposed to be similar in age.

Do I have to much time on my hands? Yes.

Faith never went through it since she never followed any rules after her first watcher was killed, and by the time Faith was probably offically 18 she had already went evil and then off to jail so their was no use to make her go through the test like Buffy, plus Buffy had been the slayer for 4 years whereas Faith only for like one in Season3

And they may have done away with it after what happened with Buffy...although I doubt that...I think that Primal Slayer is correct in this case....

Plus, Joss has said many times that Faith was younger than Buffy.

As well as what everyone else has said, the council had pretty much no authority over either Slayer after Season 3.

Yeah, I assumed it was similar to that, I just had assumed Faith was older. Maybe her birthday was while she was watcher-less.

I guess she was supposed to be younger, so maybe she just hadn't gotten to that point yet before she went evil. And also I don't think that Giles would have had her go through it anyway, if she was supposed to while she was under his watch

Faith is younger, but I'm thinking her birthday was sometime before so went to jail because she's in a freakin' maximum security prison. That's not juvvie.

So I think she was either evil/in jail so the test was never conducted. There wasn't really much point.
