Hemery High and Buffy's LA Neighborhood

So, I was wondering what area of LA is Buffy from and where would Hemery High probably be located?

The reason I ask is, with the crossover fic I'm writing, I'm thinking of making her from Silver Lake. I just wanted to know if it was ever actually mentioned which part of LA she hails from, because I'm trying to keep the past as canon/fanon as possible.

I always thought she was probably a Valley girl, but I really don't know anything about LA neighborhoods.

Nope, it was never mentioned what part of L.A she came from. At least not in the series. Although Joss and all the other writers always refer to Buffy as a typical Valley Girl which would mean, stereotypically, she would be around the San Fernando Valley area of L.A. But Valley Girls have kinda spread out to all areas of South California and just mean ditzy, typically blonde girls, who are more bothered about dates and personal appearence than academic achievement. Which does kinda describe Pre-Sunnydale Buffy.

So, I don't think you do have a limit on where in L.A to place it. As long as it's a place for the rich or moderately rich families, you're good. 😀

Another question that I'll put here and hope someone answers. Did they ever elaborate on the last known where abouts of Hank? The fic is a S8/A:ATF crossover fic and I want to throw Hank in there. It's also something I've wondered since ATF started.

Again, I'll have a go at answering. Haha. Last we heard he was in Spain with his secretary and then he took the absentee Dad thing to a whole new level and the girls never knew where he was. I'd presume he's back in L.A or still holidaying it with his secretary.
