Her surname ?!?!?!

I don't really know about Anya's name. She would have been originally human in about the 11th century I guess so perhaps she didn't have a last name. Weren't people known by their trade then such as 'John the butcher' or 'Ted the blacksmith'??? Perhaps either Emerson or Jenkins has a meaning that relates to what her family's trade was (when she was Aud)...

About Angel, he has just been called Master Liam as far as I remember which is a bit annoying!! I don't think we even got a good glimpse of his gravestone when we saw him crawl out! He seemed to have a reason for naming his son Connor though. Maybe that was his father's name or something.

I wish we knew what Darla's real name was! It seems a bit ludicrous that she would forget her own name - even if she had changed it and lived a couple of hundred years! Your name and your date of birth are things you just don't forget!

I like seeing Angel/Darla/Spike/Dru flashbacks, it would be nice if we could have a few more of those which tell us all their full names (obsessive - me? Lol!). Does anyone know Spike's real sirname? As William the Bloody was obviously a nickname too!

Failing flashbacks Joss should just tell us their names!!

I'm guessing Darla *wants* to forget her past identity as syphilis-ridden prostitute. And I don't think Angel would name Connor after the father he'd hated. Maybe it was his surname? Or just an Irish name he'd always liked?

Aud really might not have had a last name. Or, she could have been "Aud who breeds bunnies" (significant?) or "Aud from across the river" or "Aud the tactless one" or "Aud, Olaf's wench"... I'd definitely have preferred Anyanka.
 
Angel's name was originally Liam...it was mentioned in an ep, but its name slips my mind at the moment....and i think it's Anya Emerson....

Lol! I'm sure you're right, it's not like that was her finest hour or anything!

I'm sure Angel would have forgiven his dad by now. He has even said before about how useless he was before he was turned. I think he'll understand how his dad reacted after all he had been through. He is a new man now really! But, perhaps it was his surname or something. 😀

He probably does it on purpose to rile us up - I agree!
 
Her name is Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins, do not know where you got Emerson from, but thats not true, maybe you got Emerson mixed up with Emmanuella.

I think it's indeed Jenkins, but there was a mentioning of an Emerson aswell, I'm pretty sure, maybe the writers slipped up!
 
In season 3, Harmony said that her name was Anya Jenkins. She said this Cordy when we first met her. "The Wish"
 
Anya isnt even her real name I forgot her real name but I think D'Dofferyn named her Anyanka cause she looked like one and Anya just makes up her own name to what she wants it to be when the watchers council came she was afraid they would take her away or something so she said Anyan Christine Emmanuella Jenkins; born on the fourth of july...our little patriot
 
At Sunnydale High she was going by Anya Emerson but in s7 Selfless while singing the song "mrs" in the "once more with feeling" flash back she says that her name is Anya Christina Emanuella Jenkins Harris.

Exept in the same song she says "Anya Lame-Ass-Made-Up-Maiden-Name Harris" so this just proves that Anya's last name is watever she wants it to be wether "jenkins", "emerson" or "lame as mad up maiden name"
 
didn't she say her name once? i think i reamember her syaing her real name ones, what she was called before she became a demon!!
