America is about to be hit real bad by a category 5 Hurricane Dorian, directing 295km p h winds. It is the second strongest recorded since 1950. It is over the Bahamas right now, due to the low lying lands of the islands when there is a high tide, moving at 11 km per hour much of the Bahamas might succumb to the waters.

Updates needed.

It will slow down. Won't hit landfall at those wind speeds. It'll be Irma or Andrew comparable. That's plenty bad enough though.

Hey Florida!! #YOLO

Florida seems like a silly place to live. Like Australia but with more storms that can kill you.

Rubbish Australia has more storms than little young America, but we don't need to tell everyone.

Oklahoma with constant tornados is worse

I certainly wouldn't live there. Too many storms, alligators...and tourists on the beach.

But it's okay. Florida will soon be wiped off the map.

That'll teach them to keep mucking up counting votes for the Presidential elections.
But don't you have earthquakes, rattlesnakes, black widows, scorpions & tourists there? 😉

Earthquakes are cool...if you don't die. And we're sending the rattlesnakes, black widows and scorpions to your state. 😅

We need our tourists. They spend LOTS of money here...and frequently get ripped off. It's called the Circle of Life.

Us Mid-westerners prefer our poisonous spiders nice & reclusive - thank you very much! 😉

I’m in SC hoping for a closer storm to the coast so I can get out of work for the end of the week. Coastline has been evacuated. Those staying are hurricane vets.

What is SC?

You say the coastline has been evacuated, but it hasn't. The coastline is sand rock and water, some places have cement barriers but they are all still there.
