Can someone tell me please the answer to my question - before Christmas?

Why has Santa Claus set up his toy manufacturing empire in his hypermarket at the North Pole on the massive ice continent?

Anyone care to make a guess, I will look in

He has only one direction he can go from the North Pole and that is south. So if he is navigationally challenged, all he has to remember is to go south because that is the only direction you can go from there.. As for massive ice continent, it appears to be thinning to the point where the Northwest Passage is a viable transport route for shipping.

Also, the north polar position puts him closer to the majority of the population, who live in the northern hemisphere, than the south pole would. And there is generally less traffic to avoid at the pole than there would be in an inhabited region.

Not to mention that he doesn't have to worry about labor laws there.

While Santa is a very friendly guy, his wife is antisocial. She insisted on living at the North Pole, and who was he to deny the wish of his beloved? And she did threaten to move in with Frosty the Snowman if she couldn't live at the North Pole. So...

Santa does like being at on the continent the North Pole as Santa's people are in charge of all the payments of Tax, now you know why Santa is such a happy man.
