Here's a fun question...

Let me add another two to my list:

*ER and Third Watch: Both series have themes that add to the overall mood of the series(ESPECIALLY ER-fast pace and all). In Third Watch's case,it never hurts to have an electronic-tinged song as your theme(done by the same folks who did the theme for Bones).
 
My favourite theme ever is probably the one to Six Feet Under, it's my ringtone right now 😉
I agree about House, basically 'cause I've always loved that song, way before I ever saw the show.
Oh and Big Love! Of course!
Veronica Mars (especially season 3), I mean how great isn't this: theme.

Gotta agree with the X-files. No matter I am now a semi-adult human being who's not afraid of the dark (most of the time anyhow) as soon as that Theme starts playing my skin erupts into goosebumps and a shiver runs down my spine. Brilliant.

Another one I can't shake from my memory despite it not being particularly good is the theme to Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.

there are a few that stand out to me, i like the theme song from hex (its called 'crush' by 'garbage') and i also love kids cartoons like hong kong phooey, flintstones etc
 
yeah there's especially something about kids theme songs, gotta love a cartoon theme.

Oh, that is a nice one. But what's even more lovely is Angela Lansbury's voice, makes me feel warm and safe. Love that show.

yay i LOVE wrestling themes, i mean i cant be the only one who sings along or does a randy orton pose when he does? (liked randy ortons old theme but i warmed to the newer one)


and Doi! i forgot monk and murder she wrote... i LOVE them, i blast them on the tv...and on itunes to annoy people... oh yeah!

who cant resist singing along with murder she wrote? but you gotta do diffrent noises for all the instruments in the orchestra
