Here's another vent thread

I get home to find an email saying that my sister has requested to follow me on twitter.

Okay, not so bad, my tweets are protected. But I had my LJ link in my profile and my LJ is where I post my fanfic and fanart. Stuff I don't want my family seeing!

I have no way of knowing if she followed the link there or not, but I'm paranoid now.

I don't want my fandom life and my real life mixing! 🙁
 
Gross. Out of morbid curiousity, I just watched that video of that UCLA student being really racist against Asian UCLA students. SMH to the nth degree! I don't know whether to laugh or rant at the ignorance. 😀
Funny thing is I just got into UCLA last week. More reason for me to head on over to UC Berkeley now... 😛 😛

Congrats anyway!
This morning I unplugged my charger from my phone, not from the wall. That end fell in a cup of water and fried. Now I need to go and buy another charger in the morning. There goes another $30 on an iPhone charger =/ Why must apple products be so expensive? And now because of that, my phone is dead. It's 9:19pm. I won't be able to buy another until 10 am. No phone calls or text messages until around 10:30 am. *sigh*
 
Why do I have to get sick on a day where my boss won't let me call in sick cause we're to understaffed. You know what actually? I'm sick to death of being understaffed in general. It's been 2 and a half months since the two girls quit, and it takes a minimum of a month to train new staff up. Why have we only got one person straight out of training at the moment? Why haven't they hired the second person yet? This is bullshit.
 
My school library recently got in a big shipment of new books, which I was pretty excited about, seeing as things there have always been kinda limited. So I went in and had a browse, and yay! they've got in two books I've wanted to read forever (Nineteen Eighty Four and Interview With a Vampire) so I was gonna check them out, except the librarian tells me that I'm too young to get stuff from the senior fiction section and tells me to put them back.

Except she once let me check out Jane Eyre from senior fiction...

I'm so bummed.
