My name is Madeleine, I'm an 18 year old who lives in Sydney, Australia. Buffy The Vampire Slayer is my favourite show of all time and holds considerable sentimental value for me.

I was a fan of this show from seeing the very first episode, but I really started to love it when I saw ''The Witch''. My favourite season is probably the sixth one.

I also watch Angel as well.

I'm sure I'll enjoy my stay here. This is the first buffy forum I've ever been to, so please tell me why you enjoy Buffy-Boards and a bit about yourself too 🙂🙂

Only did I get really involved in Buffy late September sure I had seen a lot of Buffy during the original air dates but not consecutive Intill I sat down with them on Netflix then the fan leaped out of me and I was hooked.

Then there was a story I had to tell mainly to myself I dint get the kinda of closure I wanted from the Dark Willow trilogy (my all time favorite thing in Buffy) and the fallout from it so I wrote it myself. Im still writeing a new chapter of that story as I type this on the PS3

So I had questions about the shows time line so I came here and asked been here ever sence

I love it here, why? The members are great and friendly, the staff are approachable and friendly, they run competitions from icon challenges to baking competitions, I've made many a good friend here and above all it's all about Joss Whedon's shows and I get to share experiences and chat about all things Joss 😀

I find it interesting that you were hooked on the show from the beginning -- I didn't have that experience -- I watched the first 8 episodes then didn't watch any more of the show for two years (I watched through all of it earlier this summer). It was more around the middle of Season 2 when the show really got me. To each their own. I quite enjoy the forums so far -- it's pretty busy, but not so busy that I can't read everything (seriously, I read everything posted here), but I haven't been here all that long.

Stuff about me? Uh, I posted a thread somewhere here, but in short... favorite character is Faith, favorite episode(s) is This Year's Girl/Who Are You, favorite season is 3 (noticing a pattern here?), want anything else? Look here.

Hello Madeleine! :welcome: to the boards. I hope you'll enjoy it here. I've said it elsewhere but for me it's "Come for the shows, stay for the grest people". It's to simply things of course but kind of what it comes down to. Discussing the shows you love is great but if you stumble across a forum where people don't treat you well you probably won't stick around. So please, don't be afraid. Jump in anywhere you want. Newbies are always welcome and should be treated the way to show it.

Luckily for me I don't just love Buffy and Angel but also Firefly, Dollhouse and Dr Horribles sing a-long blog so there's many reasons to stay.

[MENTION=5526]mic[/MENTION]hlings: Looking back at season 1, it was deeply flawed, and compared to other seasons, pretty weak. I think the reason why I was hooked on it because I saw it when I was 14, I hadn't watched many television shows and I was looking for a show where there is a ''monster of the week'' as well as an arc or series long evil character, and Season one was what I was looking for. Plus, I remember watching Doctor Who and thinking ''why isn't the Doctor ever reincarnated as a woman?'' Which kinda drew me to buffy.... in short, at the time, it was exactly what I was looking for.
