Hi all 🙂

I'm new here and relatively new to Buffy itself.

I'm Amy, I'm from England and I'm a student.

I've only been a Buffy fan since the end of April, when two friends convinced me to watch season one. Two months later, I've bought and watched all of Buffy and all of Angel - my bank account took a dent let me tell you!

I'm looking forward to posting on this board 🙂

But it´s a big place and it can be hard to find your way around. I don't doubt that as a newbie to the fandom most of us will view you as clay to be moulded and will try and convert you to our favorite ship/character/episode so watch out for that. Well clearly Amy is a very clever person so of course she loves Tillow, Fresley and Cangel the most. But a warning can come in handy. You never know that tricks the Bangels will use to make her change her mind. They can be sneaky. So watch out Amy!

Welcome to the boards! Definetly watch out for the Bangel v Spuffy battles/wars! They can get pretty nasty. On a happier note hope to see you around the boards!

Let me just tell you that right away, there always might be some people under the illusion that Bangel (Buffy&Angel) made a good couple, but you can just ignore those 😛

My username is a character from Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials novels. My friends aren't members of the boards - but they'd been trying to convince me to watch Buffy for a while (I was put off by the name for ages!)

I'm a veteran of the Harry Potter fandom, so I know the madness that being a member of a fandom can bring!

Well clearly Amy is a very clever person so of course she loves Tillow, Fresley and Cangel the most. But a warning can come in handy. You never know that tricks the Bangels will use to make her change her mind. They can be sneaky. So watch out Amy!

I do like Tillow, Fresley and Cangel - but I like Spuffy (weird name lol) the best. I wasn't too big a fan of Buffy/Angel.

Yeah, that´s a big problem. With a "better" name I´m sure I could have convinced a lot more people to watch it. The number of the people I´ve convinced this far is 0...

Xaphania. That was the Angel, right? Welcome to the boards! If you do decide to get sorted, I hope you get Drogyn. You sound like a smart person already with those ships! And you like HDM and HP, which is always good. Oh, and the sorting tome is absolutely nothing like Harry Potter. No... we're much to creative for that. I mean, yeah, it speaks to you and it sorts you into one of four houses, and we have our house dormatories, and rivalries, and house points........completely different......
 
I think I will probably get sorted, though I think I'll have a proper look around first...I'm thinking maybe I should do the adoption thing.
