Here's a bit of background:
I watched and really enjoyed Buffy as it was originally airing. My cousin was obsessed with it and I used to hang out with her a lot so I guess that's how I got into it. A few months ago I got back into it again because all of the seasons were streaming on Netflix. I remembered the general major plot stories and such, but it felt like I was watching it for the first time again.
It was so awesome that after watching all 7 seasons I decided to buy the box set just so that I could own it and watch it whenever I wanted, plus all the cool bonus features (commentaries, interviews and such.)
So now here I am watching the series from the beginning again - currently up to Amends S3. Watching the episode Passion from season 2 (easily my favorite episode of the series) just made me want to chat about Buffy with other people who are as into it as I am. I looked around for some Buffy sites but a lot of them were old and not being used anymore. Then I found buffyforums.net. It's an awesome website - which actually in turn introduced me to this site!
My username means "What Would Giles Do?" After a shirt that my brother helped me customize. It says "WWGD?" with a book and cross on the front, and just a picture of Giles on the back. Unfortunately I couldn't add a question mark to my username here, but that's no biggie 😛
Just a random bit of input - I looked through all of the skins for these forums (the most I've seen of any forums before! 😱 ) and ended up choosing the Buffy 10 Year Anniversary one. They were all pretty cool, and I especially love the halloween one.
I watched most of Angel as it aired also, but have not re-watched it (though that entire series is also streaming on Netflix.) I haven't gotten into Firefly either, so I guess my Joss experiences aren't that diverse for now, but that's ok with me.
Anyway I guess I kind of rambled and there's a lot for me to catch up on here so maybe you will see around a lot! Thanks for reading.
