Hi everyone, my name is Natty and I am a major fan of BtVS, Angel not as much. I've been watching since episode 1, but was fairly young(9) so I didn't understand most of the themes or jokes.
My favorite character is Jonathan, but Anya also holds a very special place in my Buffy-loving heart. I hope we can be friends, and I look forward to getting to know all of you guys.

Lol, yeah I know. Jonathan is just... It's hard to explain. I think I like him so much because he was human from start to finish, little Jonathan, the perpetual nerd. He's not funny like Andrew, hes not super smart like Warren. He dabbles a little in magic but isn't particularly good at it. He's never fully good, but never too bad. Jonathan is more human to me than any of the other characters. He's average, and not in a sexy Xander way.
I'm not sure I explained that as well, or as fully as I should. I'm sure you get the gist of what I mean though.

I get what you mean, he was kind of the viewer's window to the supernatural world. He was just as freaked out when the demonic happenings, well, happened, as normal everyday people would be. He made the show more realistic, especially in his perpetual nerdiness (not everyone goes through dramatic transformations). Considering a lot of the time he's just 'there,' there's a fair bit you could say about him. Interesting choice!

You know I wish he had found a bigger place among The Scoobies, but I'm actually happier that he died. His death made a bigger statement about him in general.
 
Welcome to BB Natty! Jonathan eh? I don't think I have met anyone who favorites Jonathan above Angel or Spike lol
 
You need to be--- wtf am I writing? Welcome to BB! I like Anya too! And Johnathan was pretty okay... But mostly I just like Willow. I'll have you know I'm not making much sense right now... But you're amoung friends! Spread cheer! (I almost wrote cheese) smh
 
Hi Natty! :welcome: to the boards. Love your view on Jonathan. He often get overlooked so spread the love best you can.
