The vampire guy

Did anyone notice that they guy that played the vampire in Conversations With Dead people is playing a reoccuring role on Angel this year?

Holy god almighty! No wonder he looked so freakin' familiar! I could not place his face. Thanks for the info. 🙂

The vampire Holden? He's Knox? He did look familiar... I bet the writers could do a story arc where W&H brought Holden back from the land of the Staked and gave him a new name. He then tells Buffy's secrets to Spike and Angel... nah, that's not possible.

Doesn't Joss ever notice how frequently the same people get cast on Buffy and Angel? Of course, there was Halfrek/Cecily...

It took me a bit, but I did peg him...now, did anyone notice that the guy who worked at W&H and tried to serve roast werewolf in "Unleashed" is Dr. Flox from "Enterprise"?

Wait...Knox has been on the show before? I don't remember Conversations With Dead People. What role was he, specifically?

The vampire dude that played Buffys therapist while talking to her. They were fighting, he was pretending to be all this cocky and cool with his kung fu while being her therapist.

Yeah I know he does, Holden was sort of ok, since his character had a good function, but he was annoying then ... and it's even worse this season!

omg, yeah, he did look so familiar, it was bothering me, i couldn't rememer where I knew him from! thanks

There was also Carlos Jacott, who played Ken the demon who ran the shelter for runaways in "Anne" and then played the groom-to-be in the Angel episode "The Bachelor Party". And he also played Dobson, the federal agent in episode one of Firefly.

On a completely unrelated note, he was also in one of my favorite movies - Kicking & Screaming.

LOL! This has been brought up a couple of times before. That guy who plays Holden is so cute. I'm glad they used him again. It was also mentioned before that one of Harmony's minions in season five was andrew. The one in the black leather coat with the kind of a blonde fro...even acts like him...I love that they reuse people. Makes it all the more humorous...

That the episode where they knew each other from school? The one that Giles kept Buffy from killing him, as a distraction, so that Spike would get what was coming to him from Principal Wood?

The one where they knew eachother.

Holden: Buffy? Ahaha Buffy Summers?
Buffy: What?
Holden: Oh uh Oh webbs, Holden Webster, we went to school together. European history, I let you something off my something essay. You really dont remember me?
Buffy: Sure...Sure!

Conversations with Dead People.

Buffy and the vamp in the graveyard start fighting, and then Holden remembers Buffy. It takes Buffy a long time to remember him.

And yeah! same guy plays Knox.

ALso, another recurring person... One of the Master's vampires, the hulkier one, the guy came back to play The Judge in season 2, Innocence.

I'm gunna go look. I have that episode on tape.

Apologies if this has already been pointed out somewhere, but a quick search of the BB didn't turn up anything on it.

Joss is well known for recycling actors on his various shows. The actor who played D'Hoffryn on Buffy played a demon on Angel and an Alliance commander in Firefly; Carlos Jacott played Ken the demon/social worker on Buffy ("Anne"), the bachelor in the Angel episode "The Bachelor Party", and an undercover alliance agent on Firefly. Tom Lenk played a vamp in Buffy season 5 before he became Andrew.

Well, I just noticed another one: Jonathan Woodward, the actor who plays Knox, was also the vampire with whom Buffy had a conversation in "Conversations with Dead People".
