Wanna give me a hand? I am surrounded by old men that do not understand marketing.. tell me.. if you had to wear prescription stockings, would you wear this? How do you feel the look is compared to other non-medical designs?

I am running into MAJOR flack.. because 'whisper' is not a good name for fashion hosiery. IT'S A FRIGGIN BRILLIANT NAME! or am I just saying that because I thought of it?

This is a mockup so dont blast the blending on her, but.. seriously, this is quality, yes? Or am I deluded.

I have never heard of medical hosiery. What's it for, people who are allergic to nylon?

no, its for compression. Compression hosiery.. the stuff your grammy wore. But there are many different uses and compression levels. The lower levels are good for 'tired-leg sydrome' for office workers and what not; they also serve as embolism deterrent for long air flights (or even train) generally anytime you sit in a position for two hours or more with no moving you are at risk for having DVT symptoms yada yada.. so, these are light compression, and lightweight (ie whisper) and good for spider veins etc

Whisper makes me think "very delicate", hope they don't rip. I rip all my tights, I'm so cool.

/me read "Hey Ladies" like the start of Val Venis's them... that is all

Watch me kick it old school:
Before or after his joining the Ho Train? because after his storylines, as they were, really dropped off.

And it was Helloooo Ladies.. just for the record.

I am sorry....
I think it looks good. Whisper is a good name indeed, because it suggest (apart from very delicate) also that it's a bit secret and I think that stockings like that are not really a thing young(er) women want to be seen with because it's really supposed to be for old people, right?

EXACTLY.. because middle aged women dont want to think they are wearing their grannies hosiery... after if the are 'ordered' to wear them
I agree. Whisper is a good name... secret, delicate and feminine.

What kind of name do your stuffy old men want you to name it? 😛

"discrete fashion therapy" they know NOTHING about branding. And you wonder how I can afford to do jack-squat all day? Because I am the man.
I like the name.....and the hosiery looks great, too!

there is no hosiery dingleberry! I had to manufacture some hosiery in photoshop and put on her legs. That was my OTHER question, if it really looks like hosiery, so I suppose it does. Righteous.

I know generic is cheaper, etc., but you'd think people would let things sound nice... ;)

In that case they look even better!
Well, it won't let me rep this, but oh well. IMO, "Discrete Fashion Therapy" as it is just... sucks. 😛 I mean seriously... why would someone want to buy that? Well, I know why they would, but the name doesn't lend itself to "ooh, I should get that."

Not, of course, that I know anything about marketing, but my point is, that given one over the other, I'd go with "Whisper" just based on name only. 😛

I guess.. it's like um, feminine products. *hopes this ends up being okay* I'd rather buy something that has a name than just "Discrete Feminine Therapy" or who knows what. 😛

it's the same generic VS name brand battle that I wage on a daily basis. Ocean Breeze vs. Hygienic Irrigation
Looks awesome , why do they have to be in dark tan , every old lady on my street wears them but they are all pale makes no sense what so ever x

They look fine to me and the names not bad. I'd wear them. I don't really understand what their purpose is though...to give support? Huh? To your...ankles or what? I guess I'm really dumb lol

No, not dumb, just young and haven't had two children! (pah, like I'm ever wear hosiery of ANY type!))
I think Whisper is a great name, but kinda reminds me of a condom. That may say less about the product than about me though...

Branding? Can't find one called it, but apparently women WOULD call it that.

Those of you who hated Sex and the City style feminism, or of sensitive dispositions look away now
