Hey, I'm Misha. I passed on the whole Buffy thing in the 90s because I didn't really watch much TV when I was younger and everyone I knew was i to it. I managed to avoid it, up until my sister made me watch it with her two-ish years ago. It took me a while to engage myself, but I was hooked not long after.

I have Aspergers and my social circle is a little small and doesn't offer a good Buffy outlet, so I thought I'd venture into online territory and have a look around.

I'm really not sure. I relate to Giles the most, probably. And I like his character development. But I also like most of them for different reasons. Tara might be my favourite as well. I think it would have been great to watch her character develop further.

I love Giles!

I had a similar experience. I knew about Buffy while it was on the air, and everyone I knew was also into it, but I was sort of a contrarian in those days and I didn't want to follow along. And I also was put off by the appearance of campiness from the outside. It wasn't until a close friend who I deeply respected intellectually insisted that I should watch it and that it had artistic merit. He showed me the episode The Body and I was hooked and fascinated instantly.
