Hey

I've always been a huge Buffy fan, I first saw Buffy when season 3 was on TV and when season 4 came out I got hooked 🙂 Buffy and Angel remained one of my favourite TV series ever since. I just finished rewatching Buffy again (I am still rewatching Angel) and I wanted to talk about both shows so I am really happy I found this forum 🙂

I was fascinated with how my outlook on both shows and characters changed (which is not surprising since I was a kid when it first aired), I couldn't care less about Faith the first time I watched, but now her story arc breaks my heart and she is one of my favourite characters. Besides her, my favourite characters are Angel and Spike.

Same for me! Even still, on rewatches as an adult, my outlook has continued to change with the more life experience (good or bad) thrown my way.

Enjoy the boards!

Welcome to the board! It's always amazing seeing how our perspective changes on each rewatch. Even now I find myself changing my opinions on certain things. But for sure the biggest change is when you watch as a kid vs as an adult. That's one amazing thing about BtVS, you really can watch at any age and form different opinions.

Thank you all 🙂

I remember how I didn't understand quite a lot of things at the first watch and some things were completely meaningless back then, I think I changed my opinion about season 6 the most. I've always liked season 6, but now Buffy's depression hits me much harder than it did back then.

At first I was afraid to rewatch, because I thought I won't find it as good as I remembered. But it was even better 🙂 I think it speaks volumes about the quality of the series that it is relatable and poignant at any age.
