HHN Fear Itself

Just a random thought. This year's Halloween Horror Nights theme is "Fear Itself." Every time I hear about it on the radio or on TV I think of that mini demon thing in Buffy. Does this happen to anyone else?

Also is anyone going to HHN this year or have you gone in the past?
I've gone the the last 3 years in a row and I'm going again this year. I live in Miami so its not much of a commute plus Florida residents get a discount.
 
Well in NYC i used to go to the Halloween Nights they would throw in the Precients...and that was scary cause I was volunteering to put myself in a Precient surrounded by police lol..but seriously its cool for the people into that stuff...I've been to one in FL also and my lil brothers and sisters loved it
 
I'm a Florida resident. I have been a few times just not last year and looks like not this year. It seems cool maybe I will go later on.
Haha I am going to laugh now because of the little demon.
Did you go the year they had Texas chainsaw massacre house? The guy chased me all the way out of the house! 🙂

That would be cool I just have to see this year because were on a serious budget.
A zombie that is a good one and my friend went early and he said something about a zombiegedon or another and if that is the case then you can scare people too! 😉

Oh I almost did. I wasn't scared until boom he came with that chainsaw. I ran and my friend was like you left me. My first reaction was to gun it right out of that house.
 
I lived in Florida (Tampa till I was 19) I only went to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal once though oddly enough but it honestly was the most genuinely scared I've ever been in my life, like uncomfortably scared and anxious. Cause it wasn't just the separate haunted houses, just walking around the park random monsters would just pop out and jump in front of you, or chase you or just creepily follow you around staring! And then, yeah, there was the haunted house featuring the man with the chainsaw and I literally thought I would die from terror when he wouldn't stop chasing me with that thing! I just remember it as a very frightening night. And since I've been to other haunted house things but I always make someone walk in front of me as I clutch onto their arm and never EVER again do I even venture into one where I know there is gonna be a chainsaw yielding dude! All that being said... I hope I find a good haunted house Halloween thing thing to go to here in Puerto Rico! :biggrin:

I know right. They just like taunt you lol. But it is all in good fun. I usually have my friend walk first then just hold on to them makes it a little less scary.
yeah the sad thing about Puerto Rico is that not very man y people celebrate Halloween =[ I hate living there because of it

Really? Since when did people get lame? I remember Halloween being a big deal every year when I was little growing up here, then again that was like 8 + years ago :/
 
depends where you go. I grew up in Bayamon and no one ever trick or treated or anything. I would only get like 2 kids on Halloween and that's it. but i think if you go to the main huge apartment complexes, they have activities and stuff. Puerto Rico is a really religious country so they are more enthused about celebrating Christmas, new years, and 3 kings day
 
Hmmm, weird. As a kid I was always back and forth between San Juan, Arecibo and Levittown and did Halloween stuff in all those places. But whatevs, I'm all grown up and looking for some non trick-or-treating, festival/club/partying Halloween fun. Hopefully there wont be a problem with that 🙂
 
there is a club in Arecibo i think called Angelous...i think you'd like it there lol they have costume contests, karaoke, all sorts of things
 
My dream is to party in the states for Halloween one year. I love dressing up so much and people just aren't interested as much in Australia. I'm hoping to find a dress up party to go to this year for Halloween, but so far no luck 🙁

If the theme is Fear, Itself you should definitely try and get a group to go as the scoobies as they're dressed in that episode. Xand in the suit, Will as Joan of Arc, Buffy as Little Red and Oz as God. If you were really awesome you could even get Anya in the bunny suit, and Giles in the sombrero!

God, can you imagine if we all lived in the same place? It would be such nerdy fun!

Oh my god! That is quite possible the most fabulous group Halloween costume idea I've EVER heard! I can't even decide which one I'd want to call... maybe the bunny!

you know what, hell yeah! The BB US Meetup should be in Orlando, next year, for Halloween and all do HHN in Buffy costumes! It would really be epic!

My fiance and I are planning a European holiday for late next year, maybe we should try and coincide it with Halloween? And come to the states! We've always talked about going to the states, so it would be fun!

I totally bags going as Joan of Arc! Hehe, and my fiance can go as God!
 
He could get one of those oz shirts from our BB store.
