Hi Everyone, i'm new!

I just registered today and for a while now i have been looking for a place to chat about my favorite show, Buffy. Back in Buffy's 4th/5th Season i would always post at the WB Message Boards, but after a while i quit posting there because i can't stand that place anymore (plus i hate the WB, they never treated Buffy and even Angel with respect). This message board looks great and i hope i'll have a good time here.

I am a huge HUGE Buffy fan, and have watched Every episode since it premiered in March 1997 on the WB. I've only missed one episode in it's original airing (that was "Bad Eggs", but of course now i've watched it tons of times on DVD). I can never decide what's my favorite season of the show, it always seems to be a 3 way tie between Seasons 2,3 and 5. I am currently leaning towards Season 3 (probably because i am currently watching it), and my favorite episodes of all time are "Once More With Feeling", "Hush" and "The Gift". I think Season 6 is a highly underrated season. None of the Seasons are bad, but my least favorite is Season 7 (i think the writing fell apart in that season), but maybe i'll have a change of heart when i rewatch them like i did with Season 4.

Movin on to "Angel", i loved Season 1, and i thought Season 2 was a little weak, but was still good. After Season 2, i quit watching the show because The WB moved it from it's tuesday night time slot. Certain storylines would bring me back to the show, like the whole "Connor/Cordy" arc made me watch a few episodes in Season 4, and also the return of Faith. I watched a few episodes in Season 5, and that was about it. I own all the Buffy Seasons on DVD, and plan on buying the Angel ones so i can watch everything i missed.

So tell me about you guys, how long have you been fans for, favorite eps, seasons, etc.

I agree, seasons 2,3 and 5 are good. I also think S6 is too criticised, yes it was dark but it was done well and I liked it, was nice seeing these characters going to their darkest places. Also not a big fan of S7, it was okay. Maybe I should get the DVDs, as I had to watch the butchered version of BBC2.

My favourite Buffy season must be s3, I love all the seasons, but s3 the most, it had so many great episodes. With Angel I have only watched most of s2 and part of s3, but of those I'd say s2 was the best.
I started watching back when s4 aired here in Norway, but only for a little while, and then I watched a couple episodes in the beginning of s5, but everything was so confusing, Buffy had a sister and everything. Then my brother asked me if I wanted to borrow s1 of Buffy, and I figures "why not!" and I got hooked, and borrowed s2 straight after. And then, since someone else had s3, I jumped to s6, as s7 was starting on tv here, and then back to s3-5. Long story, I know.

Hey and welcome! I hope you enjoy it here, and feel free to PM me if you need anything! My favorite season is probably season 5. I didn't start watching Buffy until season 4, but I was hooked from there and have now seen every single episode of Buffy and Angel many many times.

I love to hear stories from Buffy fans who got into the show late in it's run, because i like to hear why they started enjoying the show.

And lol @ the "Bad Eggs" comments, i know i also didn't like that episode so maybe it wasn't a bad thing that i missed it's original run.

The WB Boards have changed dramatically. I used to post there long before they even got their new layout. We used to always have fights with the "Roswell" "Dawson's Creek" and "Charmed" fans (this was back durring 1999/2000). I quit posting there after Buffy moved to UPN because the mods would hate it when people still posted about Buffy, even if it was in Angel's message board.

I absolutely love S6 it is my favourite season, with Angel my favourite has gotta be S4.
