My name is Jessica, and I'm pretty new to the world of Buffy. I had seen most of the 7th season a couple years ago, and I got the whole series on dvd for my last birthday. I've been watching since May and I'm well into season 5 now. Buffy just killed the alien that was after her mom.

Oh, you're so lucky to still have fresh episodes. Enjoy them, there will come times when you've seen every episode a gazillion times and just yearn for something new.
 
Thanks you guys! The best part about season 5 is finding out where Dawn came from. I had seen season 7, and when I started at the begining, I was wondering "where's Buffy's sister???" Now it makes some sense! LOL

Was it you that were smart enough to want the Buffy series for your birthday or was someone smart enough to give it to you?

Yeah the Dawn thing was ruined for me years before I picked up the show so I feel a bit cheated.


To be honest it's very 'hand wave' plotting, but thats OK I like my Dawnerkins. In fact last night I was flipping channels the I was like Oh Dawnie! She was in some new TV show about nurses or something. Mercy it was called maybe?

Yeah, she's a nurse on Mercy. She's also still on Gossip Girl.

I wanted them. I also got Angel. I've seen a few of them, and I'm looking forward to watching the whole series.
