Spuffy isn't the sole reason that I like season six - in fact, there's a lot about their relationship in this season that makes me uncomfortable, no matter how much I love the pairing. Anyway, I generally prefer the overall feel and tone of the later seasons to the earlier ones, so that's a contributing factor. I like the excellent individual episodes (OMWF, Dead Things, Normal Again etc.); I like the friendship between Dawn and Spike and Dawn and Tara; I like that the show took a chance and went to such dark places. I wasn't keen on dark!Willow but Giles turning up at the end to save the day is fantastic. I do admit, the first time I watched this season I wasn't that impressed, but subsequent rewatches have shown me how great it is. 🙂

Sorry I didn't mean to insinuate that Spuffy was the main reason for why you like season 6.

Hi honey, I'm Oriana, welcome to BB. 🙂

Actually, I'm also in the Bandwagon of S6 lovin'. 😀 Why? Because I felt that the show became more complex and a lot deeper. Every single character was explored and taken farther in the way of character development then they ever had been before. The show itself became deeper.

S6 was kinda like the "Innocence" season for me. What I mean is, many people love the S2 Btvs Episode "Innocence" because they think that the was the epi were everything became more advanced and more of an adult show. Well, that's what S6 is for me.

It's about growing up, it's about life, it's about falling into darkness and going as low as you can go, yet still picking yourself up and being stronger because of it. Our characters really became adults this season, and although this season is pretty serious, it also has some very light and fun moments. 🙂 Also, as an addition, I find it to be the most sentimental and meaningful Btvs Season, everything that happens there is VERY important for the characters.

Yup. So anyway, I look forward to getting to know you better. :biggrin3:
